Citizenship Congress

Citizenship Congress will deepen your understanding of governance and public policy, nurture your communication skills, and expand your horizons as you discover what it means to be Canadian in the nation’s capital. Workshops culminate with an annual debate. This event generally runs in the spring in Ottawa of each year. Learn more

Members Forum

First offered in 1931, Members Forum is our longest-running program. This annual gathering of 4-H members from across Canada is an opportunity for youth to participate in high-caliber positive youth development programming, experience top-tier agricultural exhibitions, and develop strong bonds with youth from across the country. This event generally runs in the fall in Toronto in conjunction with the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Learn more

U.S. National 4-H Conference

The annual U.S. National 4-H Conference is a week-long, entirely youth-led civic engagement opportunity organized by 4-H members from across the U.S. in which participants learn about U.S.-Canada trade relations. The Canadian delegation is composed of one 4-H member from each province, aged 16 to 19 at the time of travel. Learn more

Leadership Summit

Leadership Summit is our premier 4-H professional development, knowledge-sharing and networking opportunity for 4-H volunteer leaders. Participants can expect to share best practices on everything from general club topics to boards to provincial policies, learn more about 4-H Canada programs, and have lots of fun. This event usually runs late winter/early spring. Locations vary across the Country. Learn more

NB 4-H Camps/Conferences

Intermediate and Senior Weekend

New Brunswick 4-H hosts an annual Intermediate and Senior Weekend during the first weekend of March. Members aged 12-21 gather in the host city to participate in farm/business tours, educations sessions, team building/leadership development, and much more!

Atlantic Member's Conference

Atlantic Member’s Conference is an opportunity for members aged 12-15 to travel to Nova Scotia for a weekend of networking and skill development. The Atlantic Member’s Conference is generally the last weekend in March and brings intermediate members from NB, PEI, NFLD, and NS together to participate in activities and sessions. The weekend is filled with presenters and keynote speakers.

Atlantic Senior Member's Conference

Atlantic Senior Member’s Conference is an opportunity for senior members to travel to Prince Edward Island for a weekend of networking and skill development. The Atlantic Senior Member’s Conference is late May/early June and brings members from NB, PEI, NFLD, and NS together to participate in activities, tours and sessions. The weekend is filled with presenters and keynote speakers.

Cloverbud and Junior Camp

New Brunswick 4-H hosts an annual Cloverbud and Junior Camp mid-June. This event is held at Caton’s Island in Browns Flatt and is a weekend event for members aged 6-11 to learn new skills and make new friends. This event helps build confidence in our youngest group of members.

NB 4-H Provincial Show

The annual NB 4-H Provincial Show will be Labour Day weekend in Fredericton. Members from across the province are encouraged to attend, whether it be to show their animals/life skills projects, come participate in the games/fun, or just come cheer on their fellow 4-H friends. The royal teams for beef, dairy, and sheep will also be selected at the show.

Leadership Banquet

In November, in conjunction with the AGM, NB 4-H hosts a banquet event to celebrate members and leaders. This event will have sessions and speakers to provide resources and training to those in attendance. Have a topic you would like considered for a presentation at the banquet?
